Honestly, if you haven’t checked out Zad Kitchen on Raines Avenue, Auckland, you might be missing out on something pretty special. Open for lunch and dinner, this little takeaway spot is run by Chef Abu Hashim, who cooks up a storm of traditional Mediterranean dishes.
It’s oddly cozy inside with some cool art pieces, probably made by Chef Hashim himself. Last time I was there, I tried the falafel and let me tell ya, WOW! I mean, it’s not just food—it’s crafted with care, love, you name it.
