You know, there’s something special about the Longford Tavern. Tucked away on Hamilton Street, this bar has been a staple for many locals. A real hangout spot, where stories were shared over a pint.
Sure, it’s got a mixed review history—three stars isn’t exactly the high point. But that doesn’t mean it didn’t have its moments. Folks reminisced about it being the best pub in Gore, and let’s be real, the town felt a little dimmer when it closed for good. That says a lot, right?
It’s open daily, from 11 am, and you could always count on a place to grab a drink. Plus, the washroom was a handy amenity for those long nights. And don’t forget the friendly faces that made it feel like home.
It’s a bummer to see it gone. So many sad locals, but hey, memories? Those live on! The Longy will surely be missed!
