If you’re ever in Kaipara Flats, you gotta check out Wheeler Hospitality. I mean, seriously, this place is a hidden gem! Chef John Wheeler crafts dishes that are both deeply rooted in his Kiwi heritage and surprisingly creative. Like, who knew lamb rolls could taste like heaven on a plate?
I was at an event he catered – an 80th birthday, to be exact. Really, I expected just your run-of-the-mill finger food, but nope. We were treated to high-end bites that left everyone raving. Mushroom and haloumi burgers? Yes, please!
And can we talk about the service? Super friendly and totally accommodating. You feel like family right away.
What’s even cooler? They’re open 24/7, so whether you’re craving a midnight snack or planning a big gathering, they’ve got your back. Plus, if you’re in a pinch, they deliver! And don’t worry about parking; it’s wheelchair-accessible.
