Feedback on Tide. (Hospitality and Gastronomy) located in Northland (Wellington)

Overview
A Taste of Tide
So, I recently popped into Tide, that seafood joint down at 325 Port Road, Whangārei. Honestly, the spot has a vibe—sitting right by the water, it’s hard not to feel a little extra relaxed. Reviews say it scores a decent 4.1, which isn’t too shabby!
Their menu? A bit of a mixed bag, I guess. The truffle eggs Benny caught my eye. Pretty tasty, but I reckon my French toast was just okay—fruit on top? Not quite my jam. But hey, that’s just me. The steak burger, though? Apparently, it’s a crowd favorite.
Staff were friendly. I mean, you could feel that hospitality vibe. Some folks noted a wait time that stretched, but when I was there, things seemed to flow. I even heard raves about the coffee—some saying it’s the best in Whangarei.
Oh, and let’s not forget outdoor seating! Perfect for overlooking the bay. Just a heads up if you’re rolling in; they do take reservations, and parking is free. So maybe give it a whirl next time you’re in the area?
