I recently popped into Mr. Donburi, this quirky little joint on Marsden Road in Paihia. Honestly, I kinda fumbled through the menu but landed on their fried chicken donburi. Spoiler alert: it was delicious!
The place has a casual vibe, perfect for lunch or dinner after exploring. Their prices? Way reasonable, especially for something so hearty. A $14 tonkatsu don? Yes, please!
Though, some folks have grumbled about soggy meals or missed flavor here and there. But hey, every restaurant has its off days, right?
