So, I recently stumbled upon Blue River Orchard, and wow, what a find! Tucked away at 45 Koropewa Road in Waipapa, New Zealand, it’s a charming little spot perfect for summer outings. Picture this: a picturesque family-run blueberry farm where you can pick your own berries, savor mouthwatering blueberry ice cream, and sip fresh smoothies.
Oh, and did I mention the atmosphere? It’s downright delightful. Plenty of outdoor seating means you can soak up the sun or chill under an umbrella. I saw folks with dogs there too—just keep them leashed, of course.
They’re open from early November to early March, so make sure to swing by Wednesday through Sunday. The blueberry ice cream? Absolute heaven! Many have raved about it, and I can see why.
